Salary: ($65,000-$75,000) Salary will be in accord with experience.
Start Date: May 6th, 2024
Term: Full time position.

Duties and accountabilities as Chef de Cuisine will include, but are not limited to the following:

While this outline attempts to be all encompassing, this position will evolve beyond these categories. This role is expected to anticipate business needs and to do anything that will help Westwood Plateau Golf accomplish its department objectives.

• Create a positive working environment, with high customer service standards, teamwork, and mutual respect for all front of house and back of house staff members.
• Oversee and direct the kitchen staff in their daily responsibilities.
• Build and inspire a high performing, motivated, fun, and engaged team.
• Manage kitchen daily scheduling, menu planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Staff Payroll.
• Operate kitchen within labor and food cost requirements.
• Promote and ensure staff adhere to workplace safety and health regulations and policies.
• Food inventory and ordering.
• Sourcing food and equipment pricing.
• Kitchen equipment maintenance, repair, and replacement.
• Hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
• Assist in the positions of dish, prep, cook and any other kitchen positions as needed.
• Maintain a clean kitchen environment.
• Promotion/marketing idea generation.
• Attend regular meetings with Restaurant Manager & GM.
• Banquet facilitation for golf tournaments and other pre-booked functions.
• Such other duties as Westwood Plateau may request from time to time, which are reasonably consistent with your abilities and responsibilities.
