The economic concerns are seemingly behind us now and with the cooperation of Mother Nature, we can only hope that the 2010 season will see a return of the visiting golfer to the area and an increase in the number of rounds played. The NGCOA Canada – Atlantic Chapter wants to do their part to insure that happens by offering a number of programs to get golfers on the course and you are strongly encouraged to consider participating in each of them. Of utmost importance are the new regulations in New Brunswick regarding the use of Pesticides. Please remember that in order to purchase product from suppliers in 2010, you must have an IPM Turf Practitioner on staff and be enrolled in a recognized IPM Accreditation Program. Visit the Advocacy page to learn more about Plant Health Atlantic which is currently the only recognized IPM program being considered by the New Brunswick Government.
